We’ve all been there right? Days (or weeks or months) where we wonder what we got ourselves into by having kids. Well I was having a super bad spell of that a few years ago (and several times since!) when this little poem popped out of my head an onto some paper. I just found it on my old family blog and thought maybe a few of you might relate and enjoy it. Here is what it’s like to live the life of a mom:

Hopefully some of you can relate and enjoy this poem. Make sure to pin it to save it for later!
What other things have you found that happen on a daily basis while living the life of a mom? Perhaps I could add a stanza or two! Especially for older kids. I haven’t gotten to that stage yet. Heck, they could probably get an entire poem dedicated to them!
It’s a crazy and hard stage of life but for some insane reason, I find that I love it. (Most of the time!) Everyone tells me that one day I’ll look back and miss these days and most of the time I believe them. Sometimes, I find myself missing them even though they aren’t gone yet. Hopefully, you can take some time to pause and appreciate living the life of a mom.
